Eric J. Carlson, DO, MPH, FACOOG (Dist.)

Dr. Carlson graduated from Rutgers University with a B.S. in Biology as a George H. Cook Scholar.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistryof New Jersey-School of Osteopathic Medicine (UMDNJ-SOM). He completed a general rotating internship, as well as his residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology, at Kennedy Memorial Hospitals-University Medical Center & Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center in Southern New Jersey.

He completed his fellowship in Maternal & Fetal Medicine at Eastern Virginia Medical School with clinical training at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital and the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters. During his fellowship he obtained his Masters degree in Public Health at Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University.

Dr. Carlson is board certified in both Obstetrics & Gynecology as well as Maternal & Fetal Medicine by the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He was conferred the title of distinguished fellow by his national professional governing body, the American College of Osteopathic Obstetricians & Gynecologists (ACOOG). He joined Main Line Perinatal Associates in 2001.
